Sabian for Paiste
I'm just looking for some feedback. I've always bought sabians and once had a nice zildjian k and 2 Z's. I've been using sabian AA and AAX for the
last few years and am looking to switch.
I've always liked paiste but never owned any. I was thinking about buying some 2002 crashs. would like signatures either but something is drawing me
to the 2002's. Anyone have experience with both or any advice? Don't want Zildjians. I like K customs but they're pricey and break easily.

Hey tido...I played a lotta Paiste a few weeks back while abroad...the 2002's wouldnt be as good as the AA or AAX in my opinion. Look at the Paiste
Twenty Series and even some of the Dark Energy Series...be prepared to pay though...Paiste are expensive!

2002's are ok but he metal quality isn't near your aax's. I used to have 2002's but to be honest they're only a bit better than xs20s. Paiste twenty's
are sweet. Amazing cymbals and signature and traditional are unbelievable sounding and they look class. But the price tag is crazy! Paiste hats are
expensive

These are brilliant hats, played them a few times.
These are expensive to, but I heard these a while back and they blew my head off!

I used to play a 2002 20" ride and liked it a lot, swapped it for a HHX Evo ride with another forum member and whilst I do prefer the Sabian, the 2002
was a great cymbal in it's own right. Lovely crash from it and the ride would have been great for any kinda middle of the road med. volume stuff.
Also gigged a 2002 20" crash once and thought it was the business... It was a loud gig situation though so I didnt get a true feel of the cymbal if
you get me...
I'd disagree with larrystewie though, the xs20's wouldnt even compare to the 2002's IMHO. I'd have a look at the crashes at the very least, anyone I
know who owns them seems to really like them.

I play both..either 2002's and Signatures depending on gigs both sets are great cymbals but as said by previous guy's you want 'em you gotta pay for
'em 2002's great all round genre cymbal IMO you can't go wrong with them as we all know they have served Alex Van Halen amongst others well through
his whole career..I also disagree with Larrystewie the x20's are no way in same calss as 2002's.

for 1500 and they sound awesome, would want to for that money, anyway comes down to your own taste
