Middle Eight
Never heard a good explanation of this or one i could understand fully. Going back to the guitar solo discussion, is this where a solo would generally
be played.

It's a piece of music in a song usually eight bars (hence the name) that usually is a change or guitar solo. Can usually be found after the second
chorus in about 80% of rock songs.

also known as the "C" section...
In a lot of songs it's used to build up to the solo....
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Not usually
A bridge is a piece that's used to lead into the chorus, whereas the middle 8 usually only occurs once....

Correct Bizzy. Quiet simply it's the 'middle' because it's in the middle, sort of, sandwiched between the 2nd chours and the rest of the song and '8'
as it's traditionally 8 bars long.

What did the drummer say to lead to him leaving the band?
"Hey guys! Check out this new song I wrote!"

It gets mistaken called a mid 8. A a bridge is, as the word states, a smaller section of the song that bridges two other sections, like a verse and a
chours, together.
